Right by OSU by a young guy driving a VW. Even better the bypass valve on my car just went out this morning, which means I no longer have boost, and then the car gets rear ended hours later. Not a good day for my car. At all. Already called the insurance company, and will claim my now-sore neck, as my head was turned when he hit me.

If it hurts right away it'll hurt a lot more later, go to a doctor. Is your car totaled?

No, but I will be needing a rear bumper very soon. He literally left an imprint of my plate on my car

Could I really do that legally?

No, not at all. It was a joke. :)

Check your exhaust. Last time I got rear-ended, it looked like just cosmetic damage to the car, but when we took it to a shop, we discovered that the impact has broken half the exhaust hangers, cracked the muffler, and shoved the whole system hard enough to bend the downpipe and shear off a couple coupling bolts.
Also, tell the insurance company nothing more than your car hasn't been boosting since the accident.

Will do. I am heading to the clinic soon and will keep that in mind when the appraiser calls
