Ordered some track rims so I can finally get dedicated track tires.
I almost wish I could use these bad boys for my street tires because they look mean as hell. But I do see a ton of Mustangs with them, and I think the gloss on my current rims go better with the car. Plus these are lighter so they make more sense. Now to wait, they're out of stock right now so I have to wait until early March. The agony!

O yea I'm not lol. I'm just going to use the same lug nuts that I use on my current rims, and then the tires I am getting are scrubbed Pirelli slicks from a Continental Challenge team up in Dallas. I am going up there to test fit them as soon as I get them (hopefully).

Actually not crazy expensive which is a big reason I chose these. Around $600 total after tax and shipping, and they are 18x10's.

I dont know slow40, but if he speaks spanish, there is an excuse, because the spanish word to say wheel is "rin" , so "rim" sounds and looks similar to the spanish word. That happened sometimes to me before but now im very used to using the word "wheels".

Well i dont like the sound of the word either, it sounds as if someone didnt know the word in english, and converted the spanish word to english. really, ive heard some people say
camionet-> instead of truck or SUV, because in spanish it is camioneta. but that its a made up word, oh ive heard also that they say "career" when they want to say race, because in spanish the word is "carrera"

Congratulations! Having separate track rubber is liberating. So much less to worry about. The only hard part is knowing how good the track wheels look and not being able to use them on the street =D

I believe they are test tires. Or maybe it was world challenge. Actually now that you say that it might be world challenge. I'll find out in a week hopefully!
