I'm wondering if there's a way I can sell a partial set of Bilstein coilovers, and if anyone has any experience with this sort of thing. A tow truck backed its fork into my front wheel, damaging the wheel, fender, and some of the suspension components; obviously the damage was quite localized, but that one shock/strut assembly was ruined. I took the opportunity to upgrade my suspension setup all the way around, which left me with a partial set of coilovers—three corners' worth. They should have under 20k miles on them. I don't know the exact mileage because they were already installed when I bought the car, but it was the previous owner's weekend car/garage queen, and I have a short commute, and have never tracked my car (yet!). In short, they're totally usable and worthwhile, but I don't have a use for them.
My question is this: is it likely that someone could use, for example, a pair of gently used rear coilovers? I suppose the extra front one could be useful to someone who breaks one in circumstances similar to mine. How would I go about selling them? Any advice is much appreciated.

Gently used? How do you gently use a set of Bilstein coilovers on a weekend car?

eBay?
Worst off try to sell the rear set.

Fair point.

Yeah, I think that probably makes the most sense.

Part numbers? What car are they currently mounted on? I have a ghettotastic Volvo 240 project, and gently (hah) used suspension components don't phase me because I'm that slick.
What I'm saying is I may buy them from you if they fit. So let me know.

Bilstein PSS9, I believe. They were installed on an E46 M3; as of this morning they're installed in a cardboard box and some bubble wrap in my trunk.

Craigslist tends to be the equalizer for offloading car parts. I'm assuming these are beyond repair? I sent a set of used stock Evo Bilstein struts back to the factory to be revalved when I upgraded about two years ago.

[Obvious jokes about selling to the Morgan or Reliant owners clubs go here.]
Can you buy a single one? If so, you could buy another one and then sell a set of four. But if you can buy singly, you can sell singly so there's probably no point.
I reckon even if it's not usual, there'll be people out there who can use an odd number of shocks. I sold a single ski on ebay once after losing its mate - I think to someone who'd done the same thing, rather than a one-legged man.

Selling a single ski is a remarkable achievement.

To be more specific, it was a snowblade. No ski-brakes, so losing them was much more common. If I remember rightly there were a few on Ebay at the time, and the going rate was almost exactly half what you'd pay for a pair.
