I'm writing an article about the insane Mclaren P1 on my site,
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
, and I need questions to answer. Basically what I'm doing is compiling all the most relevant information out there, with pictures and videos. What are some interesting questions you would like answered? Be as specific as possible and I'll do my best to post it by tonight. Thanks!

I've asked it before, but was never entirely satisfied with the answer. In the front fender vent leading into the door (the black part), there is a gap in the paneling. It is located about 2/3 up the height of the tire.
What is the purpose of the gap, and why would it not be better closed off?
Not sure if that is even answerable, but you asked specific lol.

I've seen the /DRIVE video. It was quite good, and it's definitely going in the article. This is a compilation, so I'll include this, walk around videos, and specific questions that people want answered. Thanks!

How much peak power is made? From the sound of torque fill, there is no electric motor on wot after turbos have pressurized. Does that mean that full power is only 7xx? And that that number is attained before the turbos spool so this car will have a flat hp curve like a flat torque curve?
Since it can run 6 miles on electric only, with the electric motor replacing the starter, is the entire rotating assembly moving but not running? Is electric only mode as capable speed wise as the 918? Or is the starter motor connected to the input shaft on the transmission allowing the engine to be decoupled by the clutch? Then I'm not sure how you'd start it.
