I for one, welcome our new unexplained and underpriced E24 idol. Although how this came about with no other information and no uproar is amazing (if it is in fact real, which is another question I'd quite like to know the answer to). [ !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ]

If this is real and they left the original rear end in, thats gonna be a slight issue

That actually appears to be an E39 M5 V8, not an E60 V10. Here are the two engine bays (E39 then E60) for comparison.

Glad somebody confirmed this. I thought it looked a bit small.

If this ad is legit, the guy selling isn't the guy who built it. Otherwise he'd know thats a E39 engine...
Either way, if this car exists, this is absolutely fucking bonkers. I would love to own this.

Underpriced? An unknown car with a poorly written sale ad. For 20 kilo bucks I could get an E60 M5. CP.

True about the "underpriced" part - but that $20k E60 M5 wouldn't be "unknown" - it would definitely be shit.

Ah. Of course. I made the eternal mistake of trusting what the seller wrote and not looking at what is obviously an E39-sized engine.

True an E39 is much more achievable at 20k. Probably only get a slavage title E60. But still its better then this swapped E24.
