I'd be willing to bet that this car had higher build quality than any American built GM car of the era

Only 9 years old with 50 miles! Whoever buys it will have fun replacing a ton of shit after they get past the break in period.

Factory rear springs were crap, so they'll need to be replaced. Front radius rod bushings need to be replaced too. Other than that, I can think of nothing that will break right away. Very solid cars.

Me too, but to be fair, it wasn't really American built. More Australian

Expect for the fact that lubrication hasn't touched the top 1/2 of ANYTHING in the past 9 years. It is probably crap.

definitely, a friend of mine drives one. It's a wonderful thing.

The "American" car companies are multinational corporations, they don't care about nationality and will always outsource manufacturing and assembly for cheapness. Most cars that have actually been made in America are much nicer than outsourced crap-can GM products.
My dad thought about getting a red one of these when they came out, but bought a Hyundai instead because my mom wanted something "more practical." Even my feeble elementary school brain was disappointed.

On my (car)bucket list. Hard to find without spoiler though -_-

Mine did not have good build quality. Actually it might have been more design issues than build quality. Either way it was terrible.

keep in mind australia is not only upside down, but often drunk. Mistakes are bound to be made sometimes

I guessssss, but getting multiple in one car is unfortunate. Goes with the drunk theory.
