I am assuming that PRV V6 has bad cams. The was one of the issues with the Volvo PRV's that the Peugeot and Renault didnt have.

There's a Volvo guy in Leeds (A.C. Auto) that has one of these in his "lot." I'll have to stop in again this spring and see what the guy has. Last time I was looking for a car he was on vacation and I couldn't wait to talk to him.

the design was done in one place, but manufactured by the respective companies. I think Renault built all the french ones (and Deloreans) and Volvo built the swedish ones

If I remember correctly the cams were soft. They may have gotten a bit better than the 164 they were introduced them on by this time
