So it's night and I am pulling up to the old music conservatory in Puerto Rico in my Lotus Evora. I park by the entrance and get out, looking for my brother who had called me earlier. He had told me that there was something important going on today and that I really needed to come over, so here I was. Anyways, the whole place has been redecorated and now looks like a real swanky bookstore but is actually a Gamestop/record store, interesting. I walk in through the lobby and I see a big poster exclaiming "WELCOME BACK TO THE GAME" huddled below it are a several executive looking fellows. One of them excitedly walks up to me. "You've arrived! Just in time!". He pulls me backstage where I see my brother, a friend of mine and his sister. "Well at least I won't have to sing alone" she says with a smile and greets me with a hug. "Bro, can you believe it's back?" My brother asks. "What's back?" I ask him, confused. "The Sega Dreamcast, the Dreamcast II!".
As it turns out, my friend's sister and I are going to sing at an release party for the return of the Sega Dreamcast, or rather an improved modern version of it. I walk around the store for a bit and see sequels to all the Sega games I had as a kid and some I didn't have. "This is gonna be good." I tell my brother and proceed to buy them all before it's time to take the stage. My friend's sister and I take our places behind the curtain and just then she turns to me. "Don't go getting stage fright now." She giggles. I have a feeling I won't. Just then, the curtains rise and we are live.
And suddenly I find myself awake.

YES! I love the Dreamcast!
Also, how in the world do you have dreams all the time? Drugs?

I believe that my peak brain activity occurs at night so my synapses are firing on all cylinders as I sleep. That and a good memory. I suspect that most people have crazy dreams as well, just that they don't remember them when they wake up.

And no, I do not use any drugs at all. I have a very active imagination when I'm awake so I suppose that translates into vivid dreams when I sleep lol.

Interesting. I have a really good memory, but never seem to remember mine. Maybe I think too much during the day.

Peak brain activity differs among individuals. Some people are of a diurnal chronotype and others nocturnal.
I also have irregular sleep patterns and frequent episodes of sleep paralysis which is a result of the brain going straight to REM sleep while still transitioning from wakefulness to sleep.

Interesting. I think maybe I'm missing some REM sleep most of the time, but even on weekends when I get up to 12 hours of sleep, I don't remember having any dreams.
