well, living on a hill sure is exciting. After !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , when an uninsured, un snow tired (or even treaded) jackass put their Taurus into the foundation of my girl's condo, yesterday I saw the same exact thing. Another crapbox american car from the 90's went for it, same angle of attack even. This time a snowbank intervened. Went to go give a push but the cop told me noone was in there. No license, no insurance, no reg so they were already in the clink.

Someone hit the apartment I lived in one time. They threaded the needle between a couple light poles and guy wires to bounce off the front of the house and take out our front steps.

My house has a similar problem. cars understeer into my driveway. the Jetta fell victim to a Hyundai understeering into the rear bumper. the jetta got a scratch, the Hyundai was in worse shape.

Haha yeah. You ever live in Portland or was this up north? I told her to insist the condo association puts a stone wall out front.

doesn't it snow in Maine regularly?

Nah, I've never lived in Portland. Portland messes with my sense of direction. No matter how many times I go there I have basically 0 idea where I am. Boston? No problem! Portland? Where am I?!?!
It was off Route 4 in Auburn

yes it does. Which is why I dont understand why people don't just get a good sense of driving in this crap! Or get some snow tires so they can stop

Being from shoreline CT the only place I ever have good sense of direction is on the Gulf Coast. Ocean is south in both those places

Dig a moat, and fill it with polar bears. Wont have to worry about repeat offenders at least.

haha now there is a great idea

Seems like a couple of evergreen trees might do some good in at least protecting the house, if the association won't put up that wall.

City is real weird about trees next to the sidewalk, or I would totally see that

Your neighbors (diagonal) seem to have a couple, though they look to be quite old.
![]() 02/20/2014 at 10:21 |

yeah that is what it is. Once one of those old ones die, it is a process to replant. Usually around those all the brick sidewalks are pushed up all crazy from the roots and heaves

Looks like a 4th gen Camaro V6.

from that shot maybe. It was a sebring convertible though

ROFLMAO
And the "4th gen Camaro looks like a Sebring" generalization is further solidified.

ha it is true! Down with the 4th gen! Up with the 3rd gen we made fun of for years!

I actually don't think I could hang my head in shame any lower. I was a mod on a 4th gen board for years and am very familiar with the platform. I figured the black mirrors, silver body, post antenna, and goofy side molding were good enough proof.

oh man. I wont tell anyone. You can keep your shame personal. I do have respect for some of the 4th gen. Growing up a friend had a 4th gen SS (guess what color/stripe color) that was bad assery. 90s just made everything soft design wise.

White/Orange or Red/Silver?
4th gens are certainly on the decline, headed the way of the 3rd gens of just a few years ago.
I'd snap up another one in a heartbeat just because they are a lot of fun and there's so much you can do with them. Real shame about the glass rear axle they've got though.
![]() 02/20/2014 at 10:50 |

your first guess!
yeah CT State police used to use them so there is a glut of them in weird colors there for dead cheap all the time. Rear axles or not

It seems trench warfare is the next step.
