Hot to go aboard that plane once when I was a kid when it first visited the Us. Big. The vertical stabs were huge. The cargo floors were titanium plate.

Nice... Due to my line of work, I find myself desensitized to many things aerospace and automotive, but I am still in awe of things like the U.S. Space Shuttle program and the Russian AN-225.
The Russians, in general, do more with less technology than any other community I know. Just look at the thousands of Soyuz launches they have completed with 1970's era 'space age' tech. An 8-bit navigation and mission management computer ? Yup.
