My interactions with people is that the typical person who is sporting the confederate flag may as well sport a trollface mask while they're at it. They don't give a shit about anything involving southern heritage, they just enjoy pissing people off.

That's my typical interaction. I have talked to maybe one or two people who actually seemed genuine.
