Pure raw footage from 1969 dash cam of the Ford GT40. Classic racing at its finest.

Just got done reading this book (it's cheap if you have a Kindle!) and I find it fascinating to see and hear the car that is a major centerpiece of the book.
Did you know the Fort GT used a NASCAR engine? Could that car be more 'murica? Back in the day a big block with loud throaty carburetor was awesome tech.
Most interesting of all (at least to me) was the rivalry between Ferrari and Ford. Henry Ford and Enzo Ferrari really had it out for one another! The GT 40's victory at Le Mans was almost a vindictive jab at Ferrari and his arrogance (right or wrong) toward Ford.
