Look buddy, if it helps you out I can go $18 but that's the best I can do. I mean, I still have to cook it and prepare the meal and it's gonna take up a lot of space in my stomach.

But I have a great spider recipe I've been wanting to try out. Besides, raw spider gives me the shits like you don't wanna know.

I don't like killing huntsmans, they keep the bugs away. Funnel webs/red backs though, dead, by fire, no hesitation.

I used to have 6 emperor scorpions as pets. Arachnids do not scare me.
(not my pic, but it looked exactly the same)

hunstman were used in the movie Arachnophobia because they look terrifying, but are harmless to humans. Well... sorta, I mean the scream my sister let out at 2am when she found one on her wall still haunts me some 20+ years later

Awwww you have a spiderbro! I keep the smaller house spiders alive in the corners of my apartment and in the closets and the like. I used to have a major fruit fly/house fly problem. I don't anymore. I hate the hate that spiderbros get :(

He's not mine- I found these pics on reddit- but I don't kill spiders. I actually had a couple Black Widows as pets before!

That guy is awesome!

.......You play a dangerous game, my friend. I would possibly keep a tarantula as a pet. I'd keep a scorpion but apparently it is really bad for their health to remove the stinger so I wouldn't do that. Actually I'd just keep a gecko for a peck. Geckos are neat and not as many people are afraid of them.

By pet I mean I kept it in a jar with a few sticks and things, and fed it bugs and crickets. I wouldn't handle one, but I think I was perfectly safe. I also had a red tailed boa constrictor- now that was cool! But they require some special care.
Geckos make great pets too. Not hard to take care of, and you can hold them and people don't run scared.

Me too, kinda!
Had a black widow take residence in a corner of our spare bathroom. By the time I noticed, she had a pretty large pile of carcasses under her web. We reached an agreement - she stays quiet and kills bugs, I leave her the fuck alone.
A few weeks ago though she had packed up and left. I was slightly saddened.

I like spiders and never kill them, heck, I've even learned to leave centipedes alone.
But I find a ginormous one of either in the middle of the night and you better bet I am letting out the same sort of scream.
