Bobsled is already one of the most popular sports of the winter Olympics, and Jamaica, for its unlikely participation and the timeless movie documenting the same, tops the ranks in popularity among the competing teams. "Feel the rhythm. Feel the rhyme. Get on up, it's bobsled time!"
It's hard to deny what the unlikely island-nation's team (and, to be fair, the movie) did for the popularity of the sport, but what they've done this time has made bobsled imminently more watchable. The Jamaican Tourism Board has released the The Bobsled Song which is an ear-wormy anthem to the team which also happens to be perfectly timed to the Sochi track!
Complete with an delightful little 8-bit video depicting the team bobbing along to the tune while they sled - no doubt where the name for the sport originated - the song testifies to the start, the turns, and the top speed sections of the track.
If you start the song playing, "Run the track!", right as the sledders start their sprint, you will be welcomed into the best possible bobsled watching experience. Two-man practice is currently live with Jamaica running 28th on the grid. Go ahead and give yourself a head start, though, and get your timing right for their run.
