Possibly, but it's been a week + and tonight I started with serious chills and fever. The drugs do help with the pain. I can see why people like them so much. It's been 3 hours so far, so we'll see what the docs say. I hope it's soon and not serious.

I was in the ER with back pain (and on dilaudid) in early January. Part of one of the worst months of my life, health-wise. I've since had an MRI and been through a neurosurgeon's direction to get epidural steroid shots instead of surgery. Some improvement so far. We'll see.
Heartfelt prayers for your relief and recovery, from someone who isn't out of it yet myself.
