Brown, wagon, 820HP, what's not to love? Close your eyes, count to 25, and then imagine you're going 186 MPH. Does that make it worth 242k euros? Nah, total CP but if I was an eccentric rich guy I'd buy one anyways. Also, the wheels are pretty ugly. I'd rather have some concave CSL style wheels. Looks more OEM.

I don't get it... the new M5 is faster 0 - 60 mph and costs 1/3. What's the point?

The 0-60 time indicates a severe traction issue (too much power). An extra 300 or so horsepower, while not worth 3 times the price, would make this one hell of a machine.

logically you are correct. there is no point.
i think like the OP said if you were already insanely rich you could buy it for shits and giggles. you'd probably already have the current M5 and want this just cause it's a brown wagon.

No F10 M5 Touring.
And if that doesn't float your boat... then yeah, there's no point.

It's an 800hp wagon..... There's nothing to get haha. I think it's extremely overpriced, but it's a crazy thing.
There isn't a point to buying this, but what's the point of buying a 2 seat roadster with a small trunk? Or buying a 450hp SUV or truck? Because racecar or something along those lines.

It looks all right, I agree about the wheels, they don't look great. Even if it was 1/4th the price I still couldn't afford it, and Oh yeah, it's brown.

It's out of my tax bracket haha! At least E60 M5's are dropping. Saw one for $29k the other day. Now that's acquirable.
