The lighting doesn't change. There are no windows. The din of fluorescent lights and bitchy coworker banter erodes my lifeform. I want so badly to not desire things that require money and employment in this forsaken sub-N.Korean work environment. My cube is in the middle of a big windowless block. It has four sides, four corners, with a disgruntled engineer in each corner. If this wasn't a defense contracting manufacturing facility, I'd swear it was in a post-Soviet arms factory placed curiously in a japanese apartment building. I'd rather be down on the production floor than in this makeshift mezzanine.

Picture a closet. It's full of shelving with old OLD PCs on it. There is a countertop that serves as a desk. An HP Pavilion sits in the corner with a 6 year old Dell 15'' LCD. That's my computer. It's also the SQL and FTP server.

At work I actually have no desk, the whole shop is just benches, so I walk around with my laptop when I need it, and put it where there's room.
At home, I have this:
I need to clean up a little, my old machine doesn't need to stay under the desk anymore. There's just nowhere else to put it right now (it's not even plugged in).

Probably because it's off-white, and that looks way better with Martini livery than true white?
I can see it too. But I would get kicked out so fast if I painted the wall like that. Can't quite afford that just yet. When I get a new place with my girlfriend, we'll put some livery on at least one wall. Because she loves me, and wont mind, I'm sure /sarcasm.

Of all things, I have a Corvette 50th poster with all the different models, a Mack Truck poster, and an older Infiniti poster. The one with the lady holding the racing helmet.
Oddly enough, Infiniti definitely used to make some brilliant posters (late 90s, early 2000's)
