I'm looking for a free iPhone fitness/reminder app that I can set to remind me every hour to stand up and do some stretching/walking/etc.
I have a desk job, and I'm tired of feeling chained to my chair.

Can't you just create a meeting in outlook or something?

That's what I do.

You probably want to make sure it doesn't make you "Busy" or it might interfere with stuff.

I have mine set up as private and "free" for that very reason.

No Outlook.
I might just create an event in my Gmail calendar and have it text me.

I think there is a program that will literally lock you out of your keyboard every so often.
Here are some: http://alternativeto.net/software/xwrit…

Just as good I'd say.

I looked into it, and it's going to be difficult to do. Unless I create events every hour and make them all repeat.
I'd rather not clutter up my calendar that way.

iPhones have an alarm...

Also, maybe try replacing your chair with a fitness ball? I have been "on the ball" since early November and don't ever plan on going back to a chair. It helps my posture for sure and probably my core as well

Hahaha. Awkward.
Boss: Why are you always so busy?

Bitch, I got stuff to do!

I am not always at my desk, and have someone right next to me. I do not want to annoy them.
I work at a car dealer teaching people how to use the tech in their cars. I don't want my notifications to be intrusive to everyone else when I'm actually busy doing my job instead of sitting on my ass.

I've thought about that. I might ask them and see what they say.
I'd still like to have a reminder to stand up and do something though.

VVVVVVVVVVVVVVV..........VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV..............VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
(thats the phone vibrating, you can choose it as a ring tone for the alarm, just saying)
I too have a desk job so I feel your pain.

I set a bunch of alarms, but on my iPhone 4 running 7.0.4, I cannot have them be just vibration as the alert.
I can choose tones, but I am rather certain alarms will still be audible even with the phone set to vibrate.
Guess I'll have to muck about in GCal.
