If this is a "car show winner," I never want to go to a car show.

I haven't the words. Though they don't specify what award it won.

35k$ for a clean (and likely not abused) NA1 with NA2 Type R visual conversion parts, Science of Speed JGTC replica aero bits, and TE-37s? FUCK YEAH. This is one of those rare cases where the aftermarket parts and modifications don't ruin the car, minus the green TE's but there's plasti-dip to solve that; the light work look decent, the interior is a tad bright but not unbearable, and the bodykit looks alright and it's next to impossible to find SoS parts to it anymore.

I found a much better example here

I mean it is functional, but does he use it?

Honestly I like it.
And by that I mean, if you paint the rims not green, paint the hood and, uhh trunk(?) white then take off all the stickers. Id think it would look rather nice.
Really IMO its not that messed up.
EDIT: ohh and take out that stupid sub where the passengers feet should go.

I sat and looked at that one for a while.....It looks like something you would see on a vehicle from a super campy movie.

Corvette Summer re-make anyone?

I don't want to call anyone out because people can like what they want (except stance), but if you can see panel misalignment in photos then you better believe it's worse in person. This car looks trashed. All the "extras" won't cover that up.

What do the scoops on the lower part of the sides do?

It might of won some local car show when fast and furious first came out and people thought tacky shit was Cool. God it's terrible though "30k in upgrades" my ass.

Do you think you could sell the parts and convert it back to stock for less then $10,000? If so buying this thing could make money.

Also those in all likely hood are Rotas and he's a liar.

First of all, I am so sorry. second,
This shot makes it look like an El Camino conversion, with way too much exhaust going on. Because racetruck!

The APR NSX wing retails for about 1.8k$, the Type R carbon hood for between 400$-1400$ depending on which company made it, the Science of Speed NA2 headlight conversion is at least 4k$ in parts alone, the SoS tail light conversion is about 1.2k$, and I can't find who made the diffuser but the side skirts and front bumper are frome KS Route (not SoS as I first thought) but they're sold in Japan only so pricing them will be hard as availability is the US is tough.
Also, those are apparently LEGIT TE-37s so there's at least 1.5k$ to 2.5k$ in the wheels alone. To be honest, it's a clean build, it needs some interior work and a Comptech supercharger but all the visual modifications are already done (especially the NA2 light conversion, that's a big improvement).

Is that the same car? Jesus good pictures make all of the difference. Without the stickers on the windshield I'd love it. (I'm fan of neon/Colored wheels)

Same car, apparently the owner will drive it in Cali to shows.

Now I'm curious. Why with good pictures like that on hand or a phonecall/email/text away did he take those garbage pictures with his iPhone or whatever?

I guess the handheld pictures are more up to date and give a better idea of what the car looks like currently.

I'm sure the lowers do nothing. It looks like they just open to air. The uppers actually feed the intake.

Heh. I knew that.
