I decided to throw out all my cars in FM5 over the weekend and start from scratch. My current project is a pro-touring Boss 302 with racing springs and brakes, full cage, sport weight reduction, sport carburetor, sport flywheel, supercharger and sport intercooler, sport tires on 17" torque thrust wheels at the max width. haven't done much tuning yet on it besides adjusting the rear camber a bit and increasing the brake pressure.

That's awesome! I want to race it! My current project is the (just about finished) Kinja Scion tC. I saw someone comment that they wanted a white car with Kinja logo's on it. Should be able to post pics soon!

I cant do designs at all in this game. that stripe is about the limit of my ability. do you know how to do metallic and matte paint on cars, or did they remove that feature?

When you go into painting the car as a whole, RB until you get to special paints I think it's called. Then you can scroll through Semi-Gloss, Matte, Metallic but they will all show red. Hit the X button and you can choose the color you want using the three sliders.

Metallic/matte paints are available in the special colours section, I think its right shoulder button to access it?

That seems like way more work and more confusing than what it was in Horizon where each had a separate tab.

I agree. But then again, Horizon was done by Playground and overseen by Turn 10. So, while still awesome and fun, not a real Forza game. In my opinion.

You may want to make 2 tunes for it, short and long track, because we all know muscle cars can't turn

Yeah I've been using the Indianapolis road course for the first tune. I'll probably use the alps for the second.
