Once met someone who had this, had to get it retouched every 6 months like clockwork. Lot of work (and pain) for little gain, sounds perfect for most tuners.

Pedals are the same. left foot for clutch. brake in middle and loud pedal on the right.

Think about all the things your hands go through in a single day, how many railings you hold as you go use stairs, holding bags, picking things up and putting them down. All of these actions end up sloughing off layers of skin daily. Eventually the tattoo begins to fade just like any tattoo, most tats get retouched every 5+ years because they are somewhere else on the body.
