Putting my foot down on what you ask? That's actually a two part answer. The first part is boredom, because I'm bored. The second part is just sitting by while bad stuff happens.
Just before New Year's Eve I had !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! - as in a literal dream. Now, I don't know if you've heard but the guy who does Regular Car Reviews had his Echo trashed. It was one of the cars he first reviewed, because it was his only DD. And now he has none.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
But don't fret! Because a bunch of his fans came together and raised enough money to buy him another DD (and enough cash left over to keep RCR running for probably months) in the space of two hours .

Anyway, I was thinking, if a bunch of people can do that in two hours, what can we do?
I'm not afraid to admit that I barely even know what Kickstarter is, let alone how it works, but we can probably raise a good amount of cash for Reach Out Worldwide (or whatever Jalop/Oppo-related charity) ourselves.

This is very true. It's amazing how powerful a group on the internet can be (4-chan not the best example). I just started watching Mister Regular; in fact the first video I watched was the aftermath of the crash. Since then I have watched all of his videos. I was extremely surprised at how quickly funds were raised. It is really a testament to his shows greatness.

We could donate to fund a restoration of a certain Alfa that would entail an engine rebuild and new paint job worth more than the car. But I promise it'll be worth it. I mean, can you really say "No" to an Alfa Romeo? Didn't think so...
