Miller has been a god damn beast in net this year for my underperforming, untalented Sabres.

He's been the one bright spot. If he continues to play as well in the Olympics as he has for us all year - we will absolutely dominate. Finland, Canada, Russia, Sweden? PFFT! Can't beat if you can't score.

Ryan Miller/Johnathon Quick are good, and are the best duo in net (but only because Pekka Rinne isn't playing for the Finns due to injury), but the Canadian squad has a much stronger defensive back end, as well as a quick, talented forward group that can take advantage of the big ice. I have Canada/Sweden in the Gold game, with USA/Finland in the Bronze game.

By the way, the Russian squad is heavily overrated. Home advantage or not, their best defender is Pavel Datsyuk.

Believe me, I know — I spent all of the lockout watching Datsyuk highlights and being depressed I couldn't watch him, but this it is more of a criticism of the Russian defensive corps. They don't have any true #1 defenseman (you could argue for Voynov, but he's the only one with a case).

Norway did actually beat Canada in 2000, so it's possible. We have some good players like Zuccarello and Thoresen, and the last world championships have been decent. Even though todays game will be hard, I'm looking forward to it.

Nah, Miller is by far the better goalie. 4 years from now in the next Winter Olympics is another story, but right here, right now, Miller is the one with more experience both in the NHL and the Olympics.

In 4 years, I could probably agree Quick is the better goalie because Miller will be nearly 40 at that point. But right now? Not a chance. But I guess we'll see how good Quick does in goal against Canada.
