So today was car wash day. Excuse the iPotato pictures.

An unexpected find.

And a little easter egg.

While washing my car, I got stopped by two random neighbors. They both wanted to tell me how much they loved their BMWs and proceeded to complement me on mine. Its kinda cool to hear 70 year old women telling stories of adventures they have had with their car. I love cars.

I really need to wash my car ... it's been a while and every time I walk into the garage it's like it's staring at me judgmentally.

Your BMW is pretty sweet looking even from iPhone pictures, I love the color. Something about the time of day makes it pop really well.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase your euro front plate? I'm only assuming this because this is the German import plate on a German car.

I picked the car up in Munich. As a result, this is the plate they assigned the car at the BMW Welt. When it arrived back in the US, I decided to keep it on rather than remove it. The usual ones people buy here for their german car, is blue. The red signifies a tourist car.

Ohh, very cool. I have a 71 2002 and wanted to put a Euro plate on the front. I actually like the customs version the best.

I'm not sure. I think the M's and certain E90 + E92s came in this color. I don't think it's BMW Individual, I'm not even really sure what that even is.
