Clearly he's a badass. It's shocking how much nicer it is than the 3 Series.

Congrats to pops!
Will he let you drive it on your own at some point? You gotta get some hoonage time, even if just minor hoonage cause you don't want to risk hurting it. Find an empty parking lot somewhere and give it the beans once the break in period is over.
I would be so curious to read your opinion on it compared to an AWD Audi S4 if you've ever got to drive one. It would be great to get an opinion from someone who is objective and not an Audi or BMW fanboy. Every time the AWD bimmers are compared to the Audi Quattros I can't get any real info because it turns into a "BMWs suck", "no Audis suck" fight

Putting snowtires on x drive BMW's or Quattro Audis is gonna pretty much bring you the same result... Great performance in snow. I own a RWD E90 and I've spend a little time in a Quattro B8 A4 and a 335xi and I enjoyed them both. I felt safe in both cars and honestly only favored the audi because heated steering wheel ;)

That was my guess that both systems are pretty good, especially when snow tires are used. People that love one brand and hate the other are not being objective.
I drove a current S4 on drive roads once so that was my only experience. That and a FWD current A4
