It looks like he did it right, it's priced pretty decently, I would offer 35k, however it says he only has 1800 miles on that car since he built it, that is a lot of risk to take there, engine has barely been broken in, so wouldn't be able to tell if he really did everything right.

This is more proof that my choice of Mopar as my favorite American brand would be the correct one. I frickin' love this car.

Oh god, what did he do to the interior? It looks horrible in dark vomit green with that orange trim.

It's called, "charm."

CP CP CP, I better stop before Rob Ford hunts be down. I love Mopar, but you don't need to spend $40k to get a nice car. Plus, it's 72.
1969 Charger w/ a 440 is great condition for $29.5K

Why do you think I want to buy it with someone else's money?
And the 1971-72 are my absolute favorite. I dare anyone to find a better front bumper on any car, in any era.

Looooop bumper!

Not real and not worth the price.

$40k for a car who's climate control is falling out of the shittily painted dash.
CCCCCCCCCCrack PIPE.

Preface: I'd rather have the Charger, hands down all day long.
But "great condition"? The seller lists it as needing a fresh restoration which will be more than the price difference between the two cars. If that green paint is peeling it will need a quality respray, and that is not cheap. Plus an engine rebuild.

that thing is like two minutes from my great aunt and uncles house
argh I need it in my driveway now!

I know he's asking a numbers-matching price for what's likely a Satellite conversion. I'm not really going to buy it of course, but I'll still wish I had one.

I'll take that dare!

What makes it extra wild is that you couldn't even get that engine in a 72 RR, save for less than 10 early build cars.

I said, "better."
Some might believe this to be a matter of taste, but I am confident modern science can prove the '71 Plymouth front bumper is optimal in a truly objective sense.

Nice looking car, but no way I'd give him $40K for it.

You're misreading things. I'm asking you to give me $40k so I can give it to him . That way, I get the car without using my own money and everyone's happy. Simple, see?

and its a fucking automatic

A muscle car like this is a tolerable place for an automatic. They were usually set up to optimize quarter-mile times, and with a high-stall converter were faster than manuals for that purpose.

these automatic hating people are becoming extremely annoying. hopefully they'll just die off like the manual transmission already is.

I dont hate it, but an auto in a muscle car? (i was unaware of the whole drag racing thing os someone else mentioned, but still)
