PSA: If your shoe is falling apart, don't drive

So, just minding my own business on the DC beltway when a guy cuts through my back bumper at 80 mph because the sole of his shoe was falling off and got caught under his accelerator.

The wounded Fiesta ST.

Damage seems to the eye to be to the bumper mostly, but it had a noticeable vibration so I'm guessing the wheel took a knock too.

Great way to end a day.

I doubt there's a FiestaST Curse going around. It's just amazing how car accidents are happening for reasons we wouldn't even imagine. But there's always a Focus ST if you change your mind.... :p

But it could also be the time of day and weather too!
