Police say woman, 52, struck man with iron
Baton Rouge police arrested a 52-year-old woman accused of striking a man in the head with an iron in their house on North 38th Street.
Debra Williams, 1657 N. 38th St., Baton Rouge, was booked into Parish Prison Sunday on counts of second-degree battery, prison records show.
The victim had a large gash on his head that required several staples or stitches to close, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
Williams said she hit him because he was hitting her with his crutches, the affidavit says.
The parts of the affidavit that show the relationship between Williams and the victim are blacked out.
I noticed that the news did not say whether this was a clothes iron or a nine iron, so I'm going to go with the possibility it was a tire iron, making this an OPPO relevant post.
