I keep flirting with selling it for my only other dream car, a bugeye subaru sedan.

Kinja'd!!!

As I sat in snow traffic the other day I had my civic's ad all written, it'd be a long one, and a mod list for the suby all dreamed up.

but, it's the same thing when I'm stuck in stop and go traffic and dream of driving an automatic.

I shall just have to have some damned patience and buy a bugeye when they get cheap enough. Crappier ones are already inside the $4k range, no too shabby.

As long as you can afford it, get what you want. Life's too short.

Now if what you want is flat black paint and a safari rack, well uhhh...nevermind. I don't have anything nice to say about those things.

I'm over flat paint. I'd rather see an old project car that's been stripped down and painted with rattle cans, than flat paint as a "premium" option.

Go for a wagon! I got mine for 5500 but went and put a bit more work in to it.
But the sedan flares are really nice and lend for more potential. Although, if you were to get sedan flares on a wagon…

Wagon power, I picked mine up for 2,000 and need to put another 1000 into it. It's a fun project car. I'd rather have a bug eye sedan in blue though.

its a fact! I had immense success selling my 95 impreza recently, $3200, that's a stupid high price!

we had one decent storm and my ad had 10 callers that night. Clearly folks in their civic stuck in snow traffic were thinking the same as I am now

tempting but, I like the flared arches on the sedan, and if you put sedan arches on a wagon you have no rear flare to match.

I had a few legacy wagons, so good, snowboards in the back instead of on the roof, but I think if I get a bugeye I want a car I'll love for an age, gotta be the sedan

God I know so many people that fit said description. People that actually think Monster is good for energy. This is a real energy drink. Never did the real drug but I assume the effects are similar. I once made the mistake of drinking 2 in a row.

Kinja'd!!!

Never again.

lol, yeah, that's a debatable look. Would only ever do a flat wrap, flat paint seems like too much of a commitment.

I can't afford it yet, whilst retaining the civic, but soon I suspect I'll be able to do both

No you want a jeep. Those fuckers will go through any snow you throw at them. At least here in Michigan by the lakeshore.

I loved my Legacy wagon! I really do love wagons, mostly because I can only have one car and have been moving a lot plus wanted something quick. I do love the flares of the sedans. Wish they carried over to the wagon.

I think the problem with flat paint is that it is really, really hard to do right. For all the flat blacks out there, most look like primer with Krypton splashed on top.

I'm too lazy to keep up the hand washing regimen they require. I'm not at all above running my car thru the gas station car wash.

What do you need a Civic and a WRX for? The WRX just gets gets worse mileage and costs more to insure but otherwise they're both compact sedans. If you're going to get 2 cars, they should at least be kinda different.

I'd get an Rs for the cheaper insurance :P

but they are different. FWD/AWD. 2door/4door. Hatchback/Sedan. Ricer/Ricer.... oop wait.

But it's not like they have such different capabilities that having them both around really benefits you.

I have a 135is and a Grand Cherokee. The Jeep is good for driving in Wisconsin winter or carrying a bunch of crap like when I go on a road trip with my gf and she can't just bring one bag, or she found some old piece of furniture at a garage sale or something. The BMW is good for going fast and driving like an asshole. Both are good for using too much gas.

But if you had a WRX (blah blah blah RS cheaper insurance but there's no turbo which ruins the whole point of it) then there's not really anything the Civic does that you would need to keep it around for, ya know?
