Personally, I like the less aggressive front end, particularly on the NB. The MX-5 has never had a very aggressive or intimidating face, and I think grafting one on makes the car seem large.

While that is sexy, its not true to that nature of the MX-5. It needs to be softer so it can be more unassuming.

Agreed. "Feminine" is an actual aesthetic in car design and isn't quite what is sounds like it; it's not girly or anything like that but something more like soft, reserved styling. I believe it was the dominant aesthetic in car design in the sixties. In contrast, most cars today have sharp edges and 'angry' features; IMO this will not stand the test of time. That's why the Miata needs to continue to be feminine and neutral in design.
