Many of you were very kind and supportive when I reveled that I was the new technology specialist at a Porsche/Audi dealership. Thank you all so much. I worked at the dealership as a lot attendant for exactly one year. I am pretty stoked for today.

Makes sense though. All these luxury cars have so many gizmos, yet most of the people who can afford them have always relied on their kids to sort out technology for them.

I was that kid. My parents actually got in a fight when our basement rec room VCR broke, my dad had me move the living room VCR to the basement and set up a new VCR in the living room that we had lying around just sitting in its box. My mom had other plans for that VCR and was not pleased.

Mom: "You go put the VCRs back how they were before, right now!"

Me: "I only moved them because dad told me to, and they use different cables so I totally re-did the cables, can't I put them back later?"

Mom: "Go to your room!"

Me: "Uh, I'm 16 and you want me to go to my room over some VCRs that dad told me to move?"
