I got everything back from the powdercoater, and it is gorgeous! I ended up using a local guy that does powdercoating out of his shop at home. He was much cheaper than expected and did phenomenal work!

I started reassembling everything last night. I quit when pressing in the front strut rod bushings hit a snag. I'll hopefully work on it more tonight.

Parts look awesome!

But, and this is not a knock in any way...

Most of the powdercoaters I have used will mask off bolt and ball joint holes to prevent fitment issues. You might have to take a rat tail file or something like that to remove the coating. I do not know Volvo brake calipers but if they are supposed to glide that's one place to start.

The front calipers are single piston slide-pin calipers. When I took everything apart, one pin was completely seized and another was on it's way to seizing. So, I was planning on doing some clean-up where needed to make sure the pins slide freely anyways. The rears are fixed mount 2 piston calipers. So, as long as the threads are clean, I'm good to go.

I need to clean out the holes for the bushings to press into the suspension pieces, though. Fitment is a bit too tight at the moment with the powdercoat there.
