...but Hemmings' script to handle wallpapers is very goofy in FireFox.

Nice Packard photo. Mine has very similar cormorant (yep, it is not a swan) standing on the hood. I have noticed that is quite camera magnet in car meetings.
I guess I need to take some scenery photo too.

A Packard Custom Eight is on my car bucket list for a reason. Actually, make that quite a few reasons.

I was trying to find '46 or '47 Custom Eight but couldn't find any. I settled for a '48 Custom Eight instead. It's a fun car but needs fixing here and there. The engine is ok but the gearbox needs to be replaced.

The only problem with me getting one is that in competes in priorities for getting a bathtub car with the '49 Hudson Commodore. I dig the Packard so much, but Hudson... May have to
...but that is likely to cut into my other Insane Cars Worth Having entries. I may be working 50 hours until I'm 70 in service to such madness.

Hudsons are nice too. We don't have many here (but Packards aren't very common either). I remember the first time I saw a Hudson when I was kid in early 90's. It was a '48-'52 4dr Commodore 8 but I don't remember enough details to narrow down the year model. I was really amazed how awesome and huge it looked.
My friend has one project '49 Commodore that hasn't moved with own power since 60's. The next 40 years it spent in Arizona desert. Its quite rough but the body is still surprisingly good.
