The early first generation Celica coupes are the best Celicas of them all (sorry, liftback fans, these are much lighter, more rigid and much prettier, and sorry GT-Four fans, those just aren't as cool), and they're easily at the top of my classic J-tin that I have a chance of owning list. So, let's take a look at this one.

Kinja'd!!!

Cosmetically, it's not in such great shape. It crosses the line from "nice patina" to "please paint me, for the love of god". And the headlight they popped out to turn into an intake is on the wrong side of the car. What's it doing over the exhaust side? I glance over at the "about this vehicle section" and see the displacement listed at 2 liters. Interesting, it's a GT, so it should have a 1.6 liter engine, the 2T-G. Did somebody swap it out for the 18R-G? It's a pretty common swap, after all.

No, they did not. Hello there, SR20DET. How are you doing today? Enjoying your delicious blasphemy? I sure am! And that's why they popped that headlight out! Pretty clever, I must say.

There are worse ways of spending 9 grand.

I'd swap in coilovers designed for an AE86, along with AE86 brakes. They can be bolted in there with surprisingly little fuss.

It's not ugly. l like it. The intake (manifold) might be on the right but the intercooler and the air filter are just lurking behind the missing headlight.

But I think that goo-net prices are horrible and this is pretty expensive too. I have seen cheaper cars available in other sites but goo-net is easy to use and selection is wide.

The pic isn't working for me so I was hoping you were going to say it had an F20c.
