Yes,
Unfortunately the ones with balls play in Australia on an oval field.

Wonder how much actual play time the average player gets. Rugby has faaaaarr less substitutions.

It is a little odd I agree. I explained it once as basically violence with no stopping. If you stabbed a guy the umpire would take your number and let you finish.
This is what happens when you let the criminals run the prison people!

I never understood rugby fans hating on football fans, as football is just the American evolution of rugby. If you want to hate on a game, hate on soccer. A bunch of grown ass men running around in shorts not scoring in hopes of winning participation ribbons. That's a depressing sport.

'Evolution' is the wrong word. 'Regression', 'Bastardization', 'Corruption' are acceptable. NFL is a slow down of a game that is meant to flow.
I hate on soccer more then you can possibly image.

Football is strategic and slower paced. In rugby, the best team physically/athletically will win a majority of the time. In football, adjustments to offensive and defensive schemes can allow a less talented team to beat a more talented team. Both are great games - they're just different.
