Looks like an aerodynamic truck that was proposed a few years back.

There is an American narrated and interview video on youtube.

Trucks do need to get more aerodynamic if they are to become more economic to use as fuel costs are only going to go up and only so much can be done to a truck engine before its made to complex to build and maintain. Not sure if these are it though, but its a start.

It does look strange and funny, but I guess that is the most practical way of doing it other than one single wiper centrally mounted at the top of bottom sweeping the whole screen.

If I recall I think these were first proposed in 2008 and nothing seems to of come about really.

That' s a complete mess.

That front end was originally for tractor units with the motor under the cab.

I can't see how it works when the motor of a coach is typically in the middle or at the back ...
