Eleven years ago today, the Shuttle Columbia was lost when it broke up on reentry over Texas. This video was shot by Royal Netherlands Air Force Apache pilots who were training at Fort Hood.

I just hope the put the lessons learned into play. I think part of the reason they are going with the capsule design for Orion is to allow crew escape on launch and to keep the entry vehicle out of any debris path on accent.

I will have to look. I have a stack I keep for when I travel. I read the one about the NASA workers and where they have gone.

Yeah thats it. It blurbed about the program. Had a picture of the astronaut class of 90-something (lots!) and then last years class pic....8 people i think. Was cool.
