It's not beyond anyone's skills—think about how dumb mechanics are. It's something that requires learning and commitment
They're old cars; they don't care about waiting on you or sitting in your yard if you take it slow working little by little

Doing the body work well would be my issue. And anything requiring welding. No welding equipment or knowledge on how to use it. I know I could learn but in the short term at least it's an issue.

That thing needs WAY more work than a 4-door is worth.

It's got the supernatural appeal though. The 4-door factor doesn't really matter for Impalas anymore.

Yes, it would be a VERY cool beater! If that's what you want it for, then that's a nice price. It's not a good restoration project, which is what I was referring to.

Here ya go. A 4000 watt generator and a 40k mile Dodge 440 w/ automatic and a dually rear axle for $1000. They're just bolted to this camper.
