Okay we'll give this a shot. On the original Xbox, there was an offroading game, and I'm trying to remember the name. It had a fair amount of vehicles, mostly trucks and SUVs, and you raced to try to earn money to buy more parts. I can't remember if it had a free roam mode or not, but I'm thinking it didn't and I would just go off track and drive around. I remember vehicles like 2002 Blazers and Silverados and stuff. Anyone have any idea?

4x4 Evolution 2. Who wants to sell me a gen 1 xbox?

We figured out it was 4x4 Evolution 2. That's a pretty cool site, though.

Xbox games work on Xbox 360s, trust me I know. I have Forza 1 for mine....

It'd cost more to ship the Xbox to you than the system is going for on Ebay.

I LOVED 4x4 Evo. I played the heck out of the game. Unfortunately I sold it back to Gamestop when I went on this weird I-only-want-sports-games kick. Several years later I even bought old copies of the first three Splinter Cell games because I missed playing them.

Not all games do. In order to get backwards compatibility on the 360 they had to create emulators for each game that would run on the 360's framework. There was a pretty limited selection of original Xbox games that got emulators on the 360 and even then some of them were kind of buggy. My Xbox copy of Mercenaries has some issues running on the 360 but my Splinter Cell games all run fine.

On that note, I really wish they had done HD remasters of the original SC trilogy. Playing those in 4:3 strains my aging eyes.

You can get it for PC too.

I've played it on PC and Xbox, I miss that game. It was pretty fun
