My brother snow drifted the CR-V and now it shakes at highway speeds, so It went in to the dealer for a warranty repair. I'm not a driver on the rental agreement, but is there anything oppo wants to know about this particular 2014 Accord?

Is it more resistant to damage by drifting than the CRV?

On a Scale from Accord to 10, how exciting is it?

Negative Accord on the Accord scale

The last rental car I had smelled like balls, well pine trees and balls. Hopefully this one is better for Denver's Mom's sake.

It likely has teh 4-cylinder, so it has a CVT.
Enjoy your terrible transmission.

The shake is almost definitely snow packed inside the wheels from all the dorifto in the snow. I've done that many a time.

Snow drifted..... shakes.... warranty... HAHAHAHAHA GOOD LUCK.

Can you tell how new by the smell?
![]() 12/30/2014 at 15:36 |

Well, its my brothers fault so I really dont care if he gets in trouble with my parents
![]() 12/30/2014 at 15:37 |

Well, my dads old 05 CRV maintained the new car smell for 3 years. So no, not really
![]() 12/30/2014 at 15:40 |

So you're saying this Accord is +/- 3 years old.

Essentially, lol

It likely has teh four-cylinder, so it has a CVT.
Just an FYI, you can tell that it has the four-cylinder by the headlights. They don't have LED daytime running lights, which are offered exclusively on V6-powered models.

Noted.

Exactly what kind of thrill is it, or that kind of thrill only come standard on Acuras?

Its a sport model whatever that means with an accord

The Sport is an Accord with 18s and a dual exhaust worth a 4 bhp improvement. No suspension changes. There's also a 10 way power drivers seat and a leather wrapped steering wheel, and paddle shifters for the CVT.
Its a ripoff IMO, but it shouldn't be a terribad rental car.

Does reverse engage at 50 mph?
![]() 12/30/2014 at 22:37 |

Hell, I've done that without the drifting. Snow in wheels = shakes at highway speed. Snow driving 102.

It has a 4 cyl, likely engine swapped for rental purposes specifically. It sounds horrible

Thats what my brother suspected and thats what the honda mechanic thinks it is too. But my mom will only listen to a professional, she cant comprehend that someone without a degree in the field can still be knowledgable.

I have no Idea, but it has paddle shifters
