MOD EDIT: TOP GEAR SPOILERS BELOW!
Despite that one of my favourite specials and I'm absolutely gobsmacked that the most reliable car was the Lotus. I wonder how much tickets to Argentina costs because I really want to rescue those cars.

Screw that, I want to visit Chile now. Simply awe inspiring.
I do love the Esprit though.

A Brit and a Brazilian, I can't think of a combination the Argies would embrace more.

I really want to know how they ended up with a Dakar truck as part of their convoy.
Also I want the Dakar truck.

Interesting factoid: they had a crew of 31 and ten tonnes of equipment. Now you know how they kept the cars going in the middle of nowhere.

Why did they use two Land Rovers and a pick up to tow the supply truck rather than the Dakar is my question?

I've got plenty of old Army buddies at Ft. Bragg, and I'm pretty sure that I could goat rope the 82nd Airborne Division into helping. There probably wouldn't be much left of Tierra del Fuego after we're done, though.
