I know it isn't a new watch, but my grandfathers 1950's era Hamilton automatic is a pretty sweet gift. refurbed with a new movement and crystal.

It's a classic, and it has sentimental value. Better than any watch you can buy. I have my grandfather's old Bulova around here somewhere. I should get it refurbed.

Thank you. It was a graduation present from my parents in '99. My grandfather had died in '92. It was refurbished this fall by my family. It took 3 months, as locating a new movement was impossible and they had to locate an old watch that still worked to do a transplant. They sure don't make them like this anymore.
