Say what you want about sunroofs, but my tiny assistant thinks they're pretty cool.

I thought everyone agreed that sliding sunroofs are awesome.

Not completely inaccurate.

When I was a tiny assistant I used to climb up on the center console arm rest when we were stuck in a ferry line or really heavy traffic and stick my head out the sunroof to scope out terrain ahead.
I thought it was the best thing ever.

I used to think that, but apparently a lot of people rather hate having any sort of hole in their roof.

It's like 50% of a targa top though, people love targa tops.

Super serious arm chair racers who think that a little bit of extra weight on their roofs is going to significantly impact their spirited drive to and from work in gridlock traffic?
I don't want to own a car without a sunroof. If I can help it I will always opt for that option on my street vehicles.

I think another part of it is that it's something else that can break and/or leak. All I know is that this is the first car I've owned with one, and I'm pretty excited about it.

I was pretty much "meh" on sunroofs until I got the new Outback. The giant double sunroof has made me a believer.
Sunroofs for days!

The days of leaky sun roofs are long gone. Nobody uses rubber gaskets, and as for breaking? It's a car. Stuff is going to break as it ages. I'm not afraid of having electric windows because they might fail at some point. If I'm unlucky and mine fails I'll get it fix. Or try and fix it myself.
