Don't people realise that if you have an end space and pull up nice and close to the curb you protect your car quite well from door dings. I always look for end spaces for this reason.

Two or three people can manhandle it by lifting it from the back. I know this from doing this in a valet parking lot where someone didn't leave their keys.

I purposely seek them out. Although usually I'm so tight to the curb I have to contort myself to get out without tripping on the island

I just make sure the drivers door is the one facing away from the curb so it's easier to get in and out.
