I'm buying books for upcoming travel and got a little surprise when I opened the cover. No clue if its real or not (but who'd forge the stig's signature?) but it was a cool find in a used book that I bought for a penny.

Some say that he sleeps inside out, and that he once had full sex with Russell Brandt's answering machine.
All we know is, he's called the Stig.

Some say that his hair is the exact same shape as a hat, and that if he worked for CNN… he wouldn't get such pitifully low ratings that his show got cancelled.
All we know is, he's called the Stig!

Some say that he once put Helen Mirren in a dishwasher, and that at the Winter Olympics he was disqualified from the skeleton event for riding down the hill on an actual skeleton.
All we know is, he's called the Stig!

Bought used off of Amazon from a store in Arizona. I've been buying lots of my books off Amazon, but buying the used options. Got 3 books for less than a $1 total. Shipping was another ten.

Perry McCarthy, the original Stig. Since it's his autobiography, I wouldn't be surprised if it was genuine.

Thats what I was thinking too. It'd be interesting to know the back story on when/where it was signed.
