Ladies and gentlemen, I am now a Level 2 permitted driver.
Which, in NC, means that I can FINALLY drive on my own -with one friend even, if I so choose.
*rubs hands together*
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
(No license pix because it's in the mail.)

Ha, I wish. I'm instead relaxing in the sumptuous, carefully french-fry stained interior of the classic 2006 CR-V.

honestly your CRV is probably faster in a straight line, corners better, and you have power brakes and floors (mine were rusted out holes!) No french fry stains, they would just fall out the floor.

Yes, but you had an enthusiast car. At this point I'd take an MGB and the ensuing daily breakdowns if it meant I got the teensiest shred of driving pleasure out of it.

lol, i have an rx7 that blows smoke at 4k rmps (needs motor rebuilt) but i love it. i'm also way older than you. you'll get there sooner than you think. Im 33 adn i have had 3 rx-7, a p1800, volvo 240, A2 VW GLI, Land rover Discovery, Saab 9000 Aero, Saab 9-3 Viggen...I daily drive an a6 avant and the wife has a 2013 GTI and the RX7 is my next project.
When it comes to cars, life is to short to drive bad ones.
FWIW, my brother had a RAV4 5-speed which was great to drive. We went on "dawn patrol" surfing at daybreak with it more than any of the others combined. You fit a lot more girls in and SUV ;)
