Great way to lose a finger, not so great to lower a 240. Angle grinder/torch, and preferably having the spring out of the car and out of the strut assembly so it's not being held with a lot of force and won't try to maim you with your own tools. Stupid.

Cut springs, swapped some shorter/stiffer valved shocks in the rear, cut the bump stops a bit.
