I've never heard of that called a clutch pull. I've only heard of it being called "dumping the clutch" terrible for the clutch though. Not so bad if there is snow or water.

yeah, that's really not a great thing to be doing unless you feel like buying and replacing your clutch a lot sooner than normal...
