With all the game music they've used, I've yet to hear music from Journey on Top Gear.
Also, Journey is the best game of all time.

Welp, time to play Journey again. The next I'm really looking forward to is No Man's Sky.

Huh, what games have they used on TG?

The first game I noticed them using music from was the first Infamous, and they've used quite a bit since then.

OH GOD NO MAN'S SKY
65daysofstatic is doing the music for it, and here's the first bit of what they've done.
Also, I could totally hear this on Top Gear, too.

you ever played silent age? It was pretty dang good. Short but fun and beautiful and good. This also supports my love for boiler suits and sideburns.

It's on my list, and I'm waiting for the inevitable PC port to show up on Steam.
Also, if you like artsy-fartsy super-rad point and click adventure games, have you played Kentucky Route Zero?

no never heard of it. I only bought silent age because the first episode was free and got me hooked and had amazon coins to spend.

It's about a secret highway underneath kentucky. It's beautiful, and it's probably the best example of magical realism I've seen in games.

I love the aesthitics of game like that. I wish it wasnt 24.99! holy crap. I guess I am an artsy gamer. I just love the 2d simple graphics and surreal mood games.

Also, they have motherfucking Stargates on certain planets.

Ah. Never really played Infamous all that much, since I've never been one for the grimdark pseudo movies. Any game that wins "Best Story" is the equivalent of a car winning "Best Fuel Economy". It's important, yes, but it almost always comes at the expense of fun and imagination. Rant aside, this is actually kinda awesome.

That music's pretty epic! I clearly need to add it to my already massive collection. For other epic gaming music, check out the Total Annihilation soundtrack!
