Pretty simple. Divide your car's weight in pounds by the crank horsepower.
The Murdersofa in its current configuration (3432lbs, 210hp) has 16.34lb/hp to haul around.

Safari: 28.75 LOLOL And I'm using stock horsepower, so it's probably even worse now.
Vue: 15.56 Actually respectable.
Silverado: No fucking clue what it weighs with all the lift and stuff on it or how much power it makes with the aftermarket engine parts and tune.

Going off its semi-official weight using SCCA race-day scales, 2/3rds tank of gas, and assuming I still have all 143 horses under the hood, weight to power ratio is roughly 17.245 pounds-per-hp for the 2002 Miata.

Somewhere around 15lb/hp. 3850 pounds and hopefully 250ish hp. Factory it would be 22lb/hp.

Charlie's fatter than he looks! Assuming that I'm down to 2000 lbs and that all of the 110 hp that were there in 1989 are still there, 18 lb/hp. Luckily, it also has smiles/hp.

W124 Benz 300D, 1987:
Curb 3375lb, 109hp when new. Now near 400k miles, but working off the "new" numbers, nearly 31lb/hp. Yuck
Land Rover Series IIA SWB, 1966:
Curb ~2600lb, 72hp when new. 36.1lb/hp, hurr durr
'63 Ford Ranchero:
Will be curb ~2600lb when done, probably. At least 240hp on the way, true #s for both TBD. Worst case under 11lb/hp. THIS IS SLIGHTLY BETTER.

3783lbs/(493hp@wheels/0.9 for drivetrain loss) = 6.9lbs/hp

16.26 from the factory, NaN right now because you can't divide by 0.

Yeah, but yours is too pretty to strip like mine. I was able to simplify and add lightness. You pretty much have to go straight to power mods. Also, FYI, I have a ton of interior trim sitting in a box that I'm not going to do anything with, so if you're missing anything that you want to put back on, let me know.

Unfortunately, those two pieces were pretty much destroyed in mine so I'm pretty sure that I chucked them. The sun visor was especially bad because it's a T-Top Florida car. Even in the up position it was pretty much always in direct sunlight. I'll double check on the visor though. It was still perfectly usable, it was just dried out, so I might have kept it.

Ok awesome, let me know! The previous owner of mine had a photo frame thing clipped two it, so it's got two dents in it.

I believe in my trucks condition it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 20lb/hp, give or take about 5, I'm not entirely sure how much it weighs at this point.

Scion xB: 158hp/3027lbs = 19.158 lbs/hp.
Saturn SL2: 124hp/2385lbs = 19.233 lbs/hp.
05-07 Subaru STI: 300hp/2800lbs = 9.3333lbs/hp. I'm pumped to buy one of these.

Volvo 855 T-5: 3344 / 226 = 14,79 lbs/hp

My old beater Corsa 1.0 12v managed 35.59 lbs/hp with factory specs. It did however have less than half the factory compression on all 3 cylinders, so assuming a ~20% horsepower loss would put it at a mind-numbing 44.69 lbs/hp! Sounds realistic considering it took fourth gear and right foot masher to the floor to maintain constant highway speeds!
